REVIEW: KOMBINASI POLIMER EC:PVA DAN EC:PVP TERHADAP LAJU PELEPASAN OBAT PADA PATCH TRANSDERMAL
In transdermal patches the components that play a role on the rate of drug release are polymers. The aim of this review was to investigate the polymer combination EC:PVA dan EC:PVP in drug release of transdermal patches. The research method used from the review was literature study of both national and international journals acquired from Google online sites and journal searches. Results the combination of hydrophobic and hydrophilic polymers between EC: PVA with a ratio of 1: 2 follows the zero order release kinetics with a value of r2 = 0.989 and EC: PVP with a ratio of 1: 1 following the release kinetics of zero order with a value of r2 = 0.982. The conclusion of this reviews that polymer combination EC:PVA with a ratio of 1: 2 and EC:PVP resulted in drug release following zero order release kinetics.
